At Bite and Bloom Botanicals, I'm a solo plant obsessive based in Hillsboro, Oregon who turned a hobby into a full-fledged nursery. It all started when I fell in love with a single Drosera tokaiensis sundew — I propagated it into so many plants that I started selling the extras at local plant sales. That grew into a full nursery operation with its own in-house tissue culture lab, where I grow carnivorous plants and rare begonias from flask to shelf. I also import select stock from trusted overseas TC labs to bring in species and varieties that would otherwise be hard to find in the US.
